Cards that cost more to process, such as cards from outside the UK or business cards, carry Stripe's extra fee on that payment. 14-day free trial with no card needed. Save 20% with annual billing. Plans are billed through badgercommerce.co, where you sign up and manage your account.

Questions
What's included in the transaction rate?
On Lite, the percentage and 25p per order cover card processing, the platform and VAT for standard UK cards. There's no separate Stripe fee to work out. On the Charity plan, Stripe's fee shows in your own Stripe account and ours shows separately, so if Stripe gives you its charity rate, you keep the saving.
Do charities pay differently?
Yes. Charities use the Charity plan: £15 + VAT a month, and about 3% + 30p per UK card payment in total, of which 1.5% + 20p is Stripe's own fee. We take nothing from Gift Aid, because HMRC pays it to you directly. Set-up is £500 + VAT, and we do all of it for you.
Why not run a charity on Starter?
Starter is a self-serve shop. It doesn't claim Gift Aid or run monthly giving, and nobody sets it up for you. On a £10 donation with Gift Aid, the Charity plan leaves about £11.90 with you. Starter leaves about £9.25.
Can I change plan later?
Yes. Move between Lite tiers, or up to Enterprise, without moving your products, orders, customers or pages.
Does the POS app cost extra?
No. In-person sales through Badger POS use your plan's rate, the same as online orders. The app is in pilot.
Can prices change?
We give at least 3 months' notice of any price change.
